I started scouting talent in Memphis several months ago in preparation for launching a new show. I knew I wanted to work with someone who was not just funny onstage, but who also gave off “pro vibes.” I saw Zach hosting an event and knew this was the guy I needed for our kickoff event. Let me tell you, he delivered: funny, engaging, read the room, adjusted on the fly, and left the audience laughing. It makes a difference to work with an experienced pro.

I have seen Zach’s work and worked with him closely for several months now, booking him for two local events to help promote my startup fitness apparel business. From carnival barker, to gym creep, to sports commentator- he can craft a character to fit any need a business could have.

First and foremost, I don’t think I can speak highly enough about his level of professionalism. Zach’s work ethic, punctuality, organizational skills, leadership skills, and teamwork skills- all top notch. If you need someone you can trust to do a job and do it well, Zach is your guy.

This past Saturday, I hired him to host an arm wrestling tournament sponsored by my business. Although my nerves were fried doing it for the first time, having Zach on stage and helping to coordinate various aspects of the event made everything run smoothly. He knew exactly what needed to be said or done and how to work with the crowd. He made everything look so easy- you’d think he had been hosting arm wrestling tournaments his whole life! I could not have gotten through that day without his unique humor, quick thinking, and problem solving skills. And I KNOW he helped give that crowd a day they will never forget!

Zach has been outstanding to work with. He reached out to us about creating a clean open mic in Memphis and it has since been a weekly highlight in our taproom. Zach’s own material is great, but he also really encourages other comics to up their game with thoughtful material that has broad appeal. It has truly been a pleasure and I look forward to it each week!

We have worked with Zach multiple times to produce quality comedy shows at our non-profit theatre in the Memphis suburbs. Zach is an absolute professional, who always keeps his commitments and makes planning and executing an event idea a breeze. After deciding on a date for these shows, he will get us a marketing plan laid out with dates and calls to action leading up to the event that build up interest in the social media landscape and highlight the show’s talent. He works in tandem with us to hype the event and sell out the house. He is very professional in his approach to contracting and honoring promises made to our venue and the talent he hires, while maintaining a flexibility to “roll with the punches” with a level head when our theatre has had to make sudden alterations to the plan. He is a joy to work with and a genuinely funny and humble host comedian who sets a perfect tone for the night’s line up. Every time we produce a comedy night with him, our audience has been ecstatic over the line-up, leaving with huge smiles on their faces and swearing they will be back for the next show. He is respectful of the venue and our patrons and staff; and adheres his (and the comedians he hires) content to the level of maturity we expect and promote, creating an invaluable trust between our theatre and our patrons that they can depend on a certain caliber of talent and content when they purchase a ticket. We would work with or recommend any business or professional to work with him as a comedian on their line-up, a producer, a host or just an excellent marketing-minded businessman any day. (The review only allows one date but we have had 3 successful shows with him in the last year!)

Zach Williams is a fantastic comedian AND producer. If you’re looking to book a comic on your show, he’s got a solid wit and will be a great addition to your lineup. Very funny and a very clever joke writer!
